What I Learned from the Hyrox Course and How It Will Improve Your Training
Hi Team,
This week, I completed the Hyrox Level One Creating Athletes Course, and I’m excited to put what I’ve learned into action. Hyrox is about more than just fitness , it tests your ability to sustain high performance under fatigue. It’s a perfect fit for anyone wanting to improve endurance, resilience, and overall strength.
Key Takeaways
One of the biggest lessons was the importance of technique. Small adjustments in form, particularly in sled work, wall balls, and burpees can dramatically improve efficiency and reduce fatigue.
Pacing is just as crucial. The best athletes don’t start fast; they control their intensity, allowing them to maintain performance across the full event.
Running is often underestimated, but it makes up a significant part of Hyrox. Better running mechanics help reduce fatigue, speed up recovery between stations, and improve overall performance.
What This Means for You
With this new knowledge, I’ll be refining how I structure gym classes and client programmes. Expect:
Better balance between endurance and strength.
Smarter pacing strategies to improve consistency.
A stronger focus on running efficiency and technique.
These changes aren’t just for those training for Hyrox — they’ll benefit anyone looking to improve fitness, resilience, and overall performance.
How I Can Help
Whether you’re aiming for a specific event or simply want to become stronger and fitter, I’m here to help. I tailor programmes to suit your goals, focusing on the right mix of strength, endurance, and recovery.
